We had a great day August 13 at Castle Park! We loved that so many families were able to make it to our Family Day. The smoke let up and we had a sunny and cloudy day of games, food and graduation ceremony.
Many people showed interest in the Little Free Library at the park. I had heard about them recently too and so started one at our Barnet location. I love that it promotes literacy in our children. Check out more ways we promote literacy here. It is also a great way to get rid of books your children have outgrown or no longer read, to join a new family in their home story time.
Besides all of this greatness, we had a sad yet fun time saying goodbye to our children who are going into Kindergarten. It is always sad to see old families leave, but it is a part of our lives working with growing children. They performed two dances that they learnt in our dance class and walked across the stage to be presented with a picture and a file displaying their writing skills, through alphabet worksheets.
We now have the joy of inviting new families into our Early Learning Family. If you are interested in a tour, contact us!
