Practicum/Staffing

Leah has started her practicum this month. She’ll be working full-time and offering lots of fun and interesting activities for the children.

Starting on the 19th, Martha Lonski, an educator at our Coquitlam location will be doing her Infant Toddler practicum here. She’ll be switching with Caitlin for six weeks.

Previous Month’s Activities

The children learned about flowers and gardening this past month:

  • Science: planting seeds in pots, taking care of the plants by watering them, identifying flowers, learning about carrots, cucumbers and other vegetables we could grown in a garden; etc.
  • Arts: flower collage, painting with silk flowers, tissue paper collage, etc.
  • Outdoors: bugs hunting, I Spy Flowers at the park, etc.
  • Math: sorting flowers by colour, counting flowers, etc.

Class Field Trip

We are taking suggestions for our upcoming fieldtrip. Do you have any fun and educational ideas to take infants and toddlers to a fieldtrip?
